Are people ever just content with the life they've lived and ready to move on so they expedite the process?

Sometimes it may just seem to make more sense, barely getting by, work piling up, no sight of relief. If it's inevitable then why put up with the BS?

There is no rational explanation to the irrational act of suicide.

Both my parents ended their lives, 15 years apart.  I blame long term benzo abuse and antidepressant side effects, but I think at the time they both didn't think life had anything left in store for them.  My dad didn't know he had a grandchild ( my brother, 13 years before had fathered a kid with a horny cougar and never revealed it to our dad) and if I ever have kids they will never be able to meet my parents.  Life is certainly a ride, but if you end it early you will never know what life you could have had.  The only thing that keeps me going is that I don't think I will ever fit all the experiences I want to have in one lifetime, so Instead of living each day like it's my last - I simply put my efforts forth to creating a better me, it's what we do and the values we hold dear that defines us.

I don't think anyone is "sane". Some actions can be described as sane, but in a whole no one is fucking sane. Atleast I know I'm not, and maybe I'm too insane to realize that there is such thing as sane. Not sure.

Suicide is as low as it gets though in my eyes. You have to not only be more insane than others but the most selfish that one can get. Live life as best as possible and find happiness. In my eyes the only goal in life is to be happy, and if what you're doing is making you unhappy or you can't see it ever leading to happiness, then change your life. Even if it means starting from scratch.
