Sometimes...
    #1956614 -

Sometimes, I feel like an author who just wrote a dozen chapters in one marathon, late night, session at my typewriter, only to spend the next six days deliberating over whether to use a comma or a semicolon in the last sentence...

But then, other times, I don't...

Anyone who puts that much thought in to punctuation makes an outstanding poster.

Yeah, figured as much. I was being a tad bit silly.
Not that I caught the meaning of it entirely.

I think I'll blame the hangover. Yes - It's the hangover.

Ok, now I feel like a semicolon being chased around by a question mark. It's kind of an odd feeling, but I think I can get used to it... :smirk:

I started doing that about a year or so ago, I know its not proper and really dont know why i started doing it...
Maybe it`s a Shroomery related thing.

They are called Ellipses Dots. Editorially, they are used to indicate an omission in quoted material, but stylistically, they can be used to indicate unspoken thoughts, additional dialog to come, or a lazy "trailing off" in speaking...

They seem to suit me well, as that's how I am. However, I have certain friends, with degrees in english and writing, who hate them, which of course, is all the more reason to use them. :smirk:
