i can't afford festivals.

i can barely afford to feed my self, let alone my drug habits, festivals are like at the bottom of my priority list.
not being a street kid is at the top of my priorty list.

Dude grow the fuck up. I do not fit the definition of a yuppie whatsoever. I rent a room in a house and work to support myself blowing glass. I just barely get by, but I do set aside some funds for fun.

Anyone who cares that much about what other people do are so pathetic. OF course there are yuppies there, there will be yuppies in any city of 60,000 people. There are also a lot of cool hippes and travelers and all around good open-minded people who will accept you however you are. You can walk into anyones camp and be completely welcomed with a hug and a smile. There are some really odd weird camps with vibes I do not groove with. And there are awesome camps with good people and talks on all kinds of things.

You can ride for miles and see something different every 20 feet. There were times where I was not feeling it, but then you gotta keep moving and find your groove. I even got meet alex grey and he drew a picture in my book and I gave him some DMT I extracted. That was pretty magical

He is just mad because he has never been. He has to try and convince himself how shitty it is so that he does not feel so bad about not going.

OP earlier when I said please never ever go I was obviously being sarcastic, but in all honesty I think you should go. Everyone should experience it just once and then you can decide if it is for you or not.

I agree, you obviously haven't been if you believe Burning Man is a capitalist playground.
The tickets are expensive because it's a 7 day festival and a huge amount of resources have to come together to make the magic happen.

There's a holiday in my country Lithuania where they burn a big doll. That's the closest I've been to Burning Man.

No but in seriousness, I really want to go one day. Hopefully sooner rather than later.
