The only reason I go clubbing, as well as going frat parties at my college, is for the chance that I might get laid. I really wish I had a girlfriend so I wouldn't have to go to shitty clubs and parties to try to score. Raves are another matter, tho.

Clubs are such meat markets! I prefer the gay clubs where I tell the women I'm straight and the men that I'm gay....so they'll all leave me the hell alone and let me dance.

I love to dance, and take any opportunity I have to do so (except weekends, clubs are not places that you can actually dance on weekends)

i went to a shitty rave a few years back with my g/f for new years eve. I dont eat E or anything, but she enjoys it, so i went to make her happy. Everyone was all rollin and shit, but then i found a couch in the back, where people were just sittin there. i was like "is this the stoner couch?" they all said yes, and i found my spot for the entire night with a bunch of fellow potheads. Besides the shitty "music" it was actually a good time...oh yeah, and beer is way to expensive at bars/clubs.

I hate most social situations like Pubs, Clubs etc

But its a curse, and I can't get no girly girl without playing the game.. something that I can't do. I don't drink so when I go out I find it incredibly boring since most of the conversation is so dull its unbelievable. Nor do I do drugs and go out, never thought that substituting alcohol with drugs in these situations was really that good either.

I wouldn't elect to not play the game atall if I were you, it can lead to a lot of loneliness. (Not that that is not mostly comfortable, but sometimes its a pain).

There are cool clubs out there. Most are lame. My definition of cool club: 1) good music 2) the crowd is more about having fun, dancing etc than looking good.

There are a few out there. It varies by the night too, some clubs are good on some nights but shitty on others. Its good to go with a group of friends who like to silly dance.

I'd love to go to one of the big European clubs like in Ibiza, but I've never been to a club in America that I enjoyed.

all depends on where you go.

I don't go to many clubs anymore, for the most part.

I enjoy parties that take place in unmarked warehouses downtown :wink:

Actually, the nicest club I've ever been in was a gay bar... the polo lounge. The furnishings were just splendid. Also, there was this upstairs chill out area where you could actually talk over the music. There were also a lot of female totty, which I hadn't expected, plus the fact that they might be, well, gay. Although getting hit on by guys is always a bit disturbing.

You forget the main reason for clubbing my friend.

Clubs are filled with attractive women who you wouldn't stand a chance in hell of getting into bed but are so drunk they are willing to make mistakes.

clubbing is ok, but the drinks costs so much, the music is shit. i normally spend ?30, there is also alot of pricks about who think theyre hard because they have had a few to drink. you also have to dress up. that to me is clubbing, i think some people get that confused with raves

give me an illegal or legal rave anyday, not teh gay candy ravers like in america though. Usually the illegal raves are run by a bunch of cool people who just put up a sound system and play what music they want, its free and normally lasts for a long time. there is a large selection of drugs, but not many people take pills. i prefer going to legal raves with drum n bass, you dont get as many stinky hippys as you do at illegal ones but you do get your fair share of rude boys with attitude
