A More Modern Default Theme?

So the Shroomery is the biggest and most popular psychedelic forum. This place receives a TON of traffic and I think it deserves a more up-to-date and more modern default theme. The current default theme was excellent for its time but now it looks a bit aged.

What is everyone else's thoughts?

I'd be sad if the default theme was changed. :frown: However, I'm biased, because my favorite color is blue, not to mention oxidized psilocin is, too. :tongue: Regardless, I'd be interested in seeing what kinds of ideas people have for new layouts. :thumbup: That said, I'll probably keep the current theme anyway. Do you have any critiques in mind? I've tried every 'theme' option that the Shroomery has to offer, and I prefer the current default theme, by far.

i see nothing wrong with the default theme. it's really easy on the eyes.

the Shroomery is one of the sleekest looking forums i've ever seen. it's intuitive and easy to use, full of little gems of features that no other board has. maybe i'm biased--it's possible.

Never personally used that theme, though it has appreciable quality. After the first mustard and blue default, truly exceptionally offensive, and smartly successful for that, I've practically had exclusive use of the desert-beige or whatever it's termed. Like olive or beige tones. Makes reading more facilitatingly-quick, for me, while also making inner-contemplation a little more apparent - also for same aforementioned me.

A new, deeply-contemplated inter-elements-complimenting theme would be nice. Most-recent stock theme is set about in its detail and richness, even though I don't use it.

I'm not talking about them removing features. If they made a new theme all of this forums awesome features would still be there.

Compared to newer websites, you guys don't think the theme looks dated?

but no, i don't think it looks dated. can you give an example of a more "modern" site, perhaps one that you had in mind while making this thread? i'm not sure i know what you mean by "modern."

You could work with a current theme and edit it via CSS to make something a bit more to your liking.

I've since updated mine further, the flaws I see in that Awe-Joker theme from back then give me instant OCD.
