Search function defaults

Searching is a difficult thing for newbies to grasp so I wanted to make sure that when they do search that they are given every chance to sucseed. I have no experience admining a UBB based board so I am not sure how you would go about modifiying the defaults but since you are paying for this software they should support you if you are unsure how to acomplish what you need.

I think that modifying the defaults on the search page you could help newbies find what they are looking for a bit easier. "Search options" should default to "And", "Search options 2" should default to "Searcch Threads and Replies" and "Date Range should default to "All Posts".

Any thoughts on this?

Thanks. I think this will help newbies (and others) be more sucsesful with their searches.

One thing. This will put a bit more load on your mySQL backend. I'm not sure how much of the load is created by searches so it is hard to gauge exactly how much effect this is going to have. Just thought I'd warn you.
