They have a warrent for my arrest!

well i went to go see my probation officer today and he said that since i havent checked in with him in the last couple months (didnt have the money i owed them yet) that my best bet would be to go ahead and go to court on wednesday and turn myself in and see what the judge says because they have a warrent out for my arrest now.


so what do you guys think i should do? go to court and risk serving a couple of months...or make some kind of run for it (my car is fucked and i have no money)

my dad suggested going into the air force.....as much as that goes against everything i believe in and stuff....i dont know...its the first time ive actually thought about it in my life.....i would normally rather kill myself than go into any type of service...i mean...can i just go to get myself out of jail and then somehow get discharged?

suggestions? plz....wouldent you know as soon as i get my hands on a sheet of acid that something like this happens....if i can just somhow put it off till the harvest fest i would hop on the bus with some hippys and hightail it to canada or something.

Personally, I'd risk serving a couple months because the judge may understand (we're all human).

I wouldn't take any course of action that banned me from coming back to this country, especially if all my family was here.

yeah just go to court.

put on a suit and tie and pretend you are a respectable citizen. works wonders.

and next time you dont have money, go to your PO anyway. I garantee you it was the absence, not the money, that got you a warrant.

just explain to the judge you didnt come cuz you were broke and didnt know any better and he will probably reinstate your origional deal.

yeah...thing is they alreayd sent me through a coupla days of "shock incarceration" for failing a drug test about 6 months ago. so i dont know if the judge is gonna be an ass about that or not.

i'd face it like a man,firstly i would sincerely apoligise to the judge for your lack of misunderstanding in the importance of not turning up to the parole officer, be honest and respectful to the judge,get a few references from any respectable people you know,if you work get a work reference.you might sound a bit like a browntongue but judges really respect people who publicly humble themselves in court.it also shows him/her that you know you fucked up and have seen your mistake thus making them know prison isnt a suitable option.
i know what your going thru,when you feel like your life is hanging by a string,it sux but you will put it behind you whatever the outcome.goodluck!

Make a run for it damn it!! Come to Canada or Mexico or any where but jail.. Trust me Jail sux.. If you come to T.O. I'll try an help you out as much as I can..

usually they dont revoke probation until you fuck up at least three times...

My friend got busted for having a loaded bowl, sentenced to a year probation, paid all the costs and fines and lawyer bills, but never passed a single drug test. A year later the judge just let him off because it was blatantly obvious that punishment wasnt reforming him and the judge wasnt gonna send him to jail for a loaded bowl...

but of course he was white, employed, enrolled in college, and had a wealthy daddy to stick up for him in court...

just go to the persons and ask em to write or type you one,just tell them your predicament and ask,most people understand and it gives them a self importance kick aswell.
people to ask for a reference:
business owners
school teachers
doctors
friends(without criminal records)
parents of friends
managers
whoever you have a good rapport with that doesnt have a record
family
