High mobile. FCC certified vehicles you can drive while intoxicated.
    #19139397 - 11/15/13 01:09 AM (10 years, 2 months ago)

A car made to be driven while intoxicated. Made of lightweight materials, can't go over 35 mph, or maybe 40, with sophisticated 360 bumpers like that of bumper cars, and automatic break response for when you go off the curve. Made for local transportation only and connected to the dmv database, so if you ever end up drinking WAY too and fuck up and bump into the curve or into other cars or objects, it shutdowns automatically and signals to the police station so you can await a police report and eventually lose your special High Mobile license. Also, they cannot be driven on freeways.

Please excuse this ridiculous description but can you envision this?, why punish those who drink and drive when you can give them another option to get home safely?. Sure we got buses and taxis, but they are time consuming and aren't always available. However THIS, the High Mobile, is the future!

Why wouldn't we just do that for all cars? People get in accidents when they are sober too.

Closest is probably a motorized wheelchair. They don't go nearly that fast though.

You can get a DUI on a bicycle. And the only person you can hurt on one of those is yourself for the most part. That and I don't think the police or the state cares about people getting hurt. It's the money they make off drunk drivers that they care about.

How about this, pendulums in cars so when you swerve it automatically corrects itself

Its called a google car. They have cars that literally drive themselves. There is a video of a blind man "driving" in one.
