If you want to keep your dried shrooms for a long period of time, you'll definitely need to seal up the container. I'd recommend putting them in a glass jar, as I've heard that regular ziplock baggies allow a small amount of air to pass through over time...

Some people even go so far as to fill the storage jars with carbon dioxide gas so as to cut down on oxidation...
