how does a Hawaiian Baby Woodrose trip compare with a mushroom trip?

i had little or no visual hallucinations but plenty of audio hallucinations - strange voices whispering to me.
the entertainment factor was quite low but it was interesting nevertheless. guts felt pretty sore too.
i planted my remaining seeds and grew a huge beautiful vine, that was good!

I like a 10 seed dose of some quality woodrose FAR FAR more than an eighth of shrooms. I don't even think they compare.

these HBRW's seem to be making a big impact on the legal scene. i wonder if they'll receive media attention in a few years. the flowers are way pretty though

HBWR is more comparable to acid then mushrooms.

Feel the magic .

HBWR is similar to LSD in a lot of ways. I'd say it has even more of a potentially psychotic effect (people's personalities can change dramatically under the influence of LSA). I'd say everything feels "crazier" on a good LSA trip. The visuals are kind of like a cross between LSD and mushrooms. They are spacey and well defined (unlike the earthy, melty mushroom visuals) but not quite as much as LSD. HBWR has more bad side effects like possibly bad nausea, stiff and sore muscles (and trouble walking or standing), and its hard to sleep on the long comedown.

Shrooms are a more mellow trip, and I'd say in general a more predictable trip. Shrooms seem like more of a pure psychedelic as opposed to the toxic/deleriant tones that HBWR carries. With shrooms you feel more connected to God or something spiritual. With HBWR you feel like you control the universe.

Of course either one could make you just feel like shit.

If I could pick one or the other I'd probably pick shrooms most of the time. If HBWR has less side effects it would be a tie.

Mushrooms and argyreia nervosa are very, very different. Perhaps the bodybuzz can be compared, but not really. HBWR produces a very distinct euphoria and total sense of well-being that is typically absent from the common mushroom trip. Similar to MDMA but without the deep empathy.

HBWR is certainly not as visual as mushrooms nor as weird/alien. However there is definitely some plant-interface via HBWR, just in a more physical way than mushrooms.

Argyreia nervosa, rivera corymbosa, ipomoea violacea are all wonderful teachers and have been for hundreds, if not thousands of years.

peace

I always hear strange psy trance when I am coming down from HBWR. Your 5-HT levels in your brain go extremely high to maximum when tripping on woodrose. Even more then mushrooms or acid.

I had to disagree in my experience - i usually find that mushrooms are less visual than lysergic acids. At high doses mushrooms can be visual, but this is usually at the level that approaches DMT land, whereas with the lysergics the experience can be quite visual at far lesser an extreme trip for me.

I have done HBWR(extract) once and found it quite different shrooms. I enjoyed the start which was very euphoric, energetic and didn't stop grinning. I found the peak was quite edgey, nauseating and my hallucinations where mainly distortions and my vision kept splitting into big blocks of pixels. After a few hours this wore away to just seeing patterns on curtains etc turning geometric and morphing into other geometric patterns, not very colorful at all. At this point I got a bit bored of it and was unable to sleep though for another 5 hours. My friend who drank the rest of this extract of which conatined more bits of seeds spent the whole night puking in the bathroom, cursing me for giving him the stuff!!

I much prefer a mushroom trip which is much more visual and more interesting and the patterns are less geometric. I also think LSA has much more potential to cause a bad trip. My advice is to make sure you follow a good extract method and have something to occupy the possible 12 hours.

My HBWR trip was great, much less visuals for me but some great CEV's and euphoric feelings. On mushrooms, I feel like the world just doesn't make sense and that I've fallen into this magical portal where everything is backwards. On LSA, I feel completely connected to the cosmic energy on all levels. I ceased to be a person and melted into this energy stream while closing my eyes. That was all after smoking, make sure you have plenty of weed on ya!

I didn't feel any of the side effects people complain about on 6 seeds, either the body load or nausea (little at the end, but nothing serious). I heard you do get a resistance, but it should be gone after a week I hear...

Yea i heard alot of people talk about how shrooms make you feel more aleien to this planet some people describe themselves as a bump in the smooth surface that is the universe while on shrooms. While on HBWR i felt like i was part of this planet and i infact had a big effect on reality.
