Just wanted to know if anyone has done it... I am a bit athestic but I find religion interesting... The only problem is i would be with my parents... Tell me what you think

A friend of mine kinda did this recently. She is a very strict Jew
and has small group discussions with the rabbi and a few friends
twice a week at 7:30. A few months ago me and her tripped on a couple
hits of liquid each. We dropped at 2:00 PM and at 7:00 she decided
she had to go... if she skipped it would be proof drugs were a bad
influence on her. I'm looking at her like she's crazy because I can't
even handle seeing her roomate let alone a rabbi. But off she goes,
leaving me alone in her apartment with her straight roomate which
wasn't too cool for me. Well she gets back 2 hours later with this
amazing look in her eyes, saying all of a sudden it all made sense. She
said that normally she had a hard time believing certain things, but for
the first time she sat back and every time someone else would ask a
question she would think to herself "how could you question that? it's so
obvious.." It really reinforced her beliefs. But then again my friends are
pretty weird...

I tripped on 2 grams back on christmas eve with my dad and collective family. They couldn't tell and I never saw God...but then again I'm an atheist. I did it for my first trip ever on shrooms. We went to a christmas eve party afterward. A truely fun evening with a memorable fun time.

the marsh chapel good friday psilocybin experiment... in his recent book, huston smith recounts that one of the test subjects wandered out of the church and confronted the dean about some matter of great cosmic religious significance (well, to the tripper at any rate...) (i wonder if that had anything to do with tim & dick losing their jobs at harvard...)

Parents are a no no. They'll be able to tell that they're little boy's acting differently.
I wouldn't trip in church because I wouldn't want those bullshit religious ideas seeping deeply into my subconcious.

i think at csp there is an article or 2 from one of the divinity grad students (who went on to become a unitarian minister) and perhaps links or referents to interviews with 19 or the original 20 participants/test subjects...

so anyway, i'm talking to pastor floyd shaffer (one of the founders of the christian clown ministry movment) talking about hippies & such, and he related to me the time he took his clown worship service to one of these spiritual community in the desert type places... now floyd's clown worship service is very powerful... anyways, floyd finished his "show" (done in clown mime with a programmed musical soundtrack to match the "action" and suitable christian & clown props) and afterwards, one of the community residents came bopping up, all shiny-eyed and "wowwish" and asked pastor floyd if'n he's ever performed the clown service while tripping.... floyd answered in the negative, but i'm pretty certain that he has performed in front of a congrergation with at least a couple/few trippers onboard... hehheh...

I think if I do it I will take the mushies 2-3 hours before i leave... Im almost positive that my parents will know though so im re thinking it... I might also go with a friend or something im not sure.. gimme some ideas

the trinity cathedral (in cleveland OH) hs noontime concerts on wednesdays and you can have the ambiance without needing to be in a worship-type situation...

Yah thats what im thinking.... I live in cinnci so that Columbus place would be nice... Now the only problem is gettin the shit... expect a trip post about 6 months later  hard as shit to get shrooms or doses in lil ole loveland ohio... (seriously like once every 3-4 months someone will just TALK about em) thanks for all yer inputs

My goal isnt to find God on that trip though... I just think it will be very spiritual or interesting... Im not sure... just an idea

A freind of mine who grew up mormon but stopped going to church because they were too damn nosey AND they excommunicated his sisterHe made a pilgrimage to Utah to the big mormon tabernacle headquarters temple thing, and tripped his balls off on acid there. I think that cleansed away any residual brainwashing that might have been left.

I'll paraphrase since I'm extremely  on valium!!!!
Up all saturday night @ a rave....Leave early and 2 of us go to my friends house and drink a bottle of cheap wine on the roof top watching the sun rise and our LSD trip fade.
He lived just across the park from the basicilla so we decide..."wouldn;t it be fun to go to church right now......
We put on suits....fill up a bullett with ketamine and a flask with tequila...and walk to church...
It was one of the best ..most spiritual k+alcohol trips in my whole life...
Everyone was all happy to see us and shaking our hands and stuff...but it was kinda weird cuz I'm not catholic nor do I know any of the rigamarole that they do in thier services....but I could not have felt a better vibe ANYWHERE!
The K was kicking in a little to intense at one point so I had to step outside and right in front of me there were like 50 little girls dressed like angels walking in a line together with thier hands in prayer pose...and about 50 little guys doing the same thing with suits on.....It was so innocent and beautiful it brought tears to my eyes......
I recommend church anytime--anyplace---whenever..
I'm not a christian...far from it in fact, but this was a truely awsome experience!!!

well, me, of course, gnrm, although i would recommend just watching and trying to pick up on the vibes.....i could not guarantee i would be able to focus properly if i was a participant, and if i instead spaced or drifted it would mess up the rite for the others. p'raps some of us should try it again soon.....with ALL participants dosing..... i don't think it's been attempted for some years. (depends on who would be there).

Trippin durin church?..hehe...i've been goin to church basically my whole life...even though i'm not really into it all....i had a friend who once tripped on acid during church...i dont know what the hell he was thinking...i would suggest not trippin at church, especially if your with your parents...there's just something wrong with being fucked up at church..plus everyone would notice you...they're all sober and ur trippin balls and acting all weird...lolz..what a trip that would be..

I'm catholic, I love church, child molesting priests are extremely rare (a few bad men make a bad name for all priests), and I love to smoke bud before attending mass. I really get into it, and it helps to remind me that God loves everyone and created cannabis out of love.

i saw on the teli that therse a cristian curch somwhere in africa (or was it south america) that make a huge ayahasca brew and everyone, once a month, trip and hang out in the church doing religious stuff.
they start giving it to the youngs at 14, coz thats when they become men. i dont know what about femals, just that they do it too.
its all part of that chrstianity meeting tribes, so cristianity broke in but couldnt do it without combining some old rigional ceremonies.
sounds a great way to streghen the people's belive.

Heh... nop my shrooms fell through... I got ripped off pretty bad cuz I was stupid givin a friend my money first when he was gonna go get em.. I said I had to see em before I bought em and he said ok but he just went through with it and right when he gave em too me I knew it was fake... there goes 100 bucks... lol
