Humidity overkill?

Just noticed this grow kit http://www.magicmushrooms.org/products/product_info.php?cPath=21&products_id=41 not only comes with perlite in the bottom but also a humidifier and "co2 pump" (whatever that does) all in a tiny propagator about 40cm wide.. isn't that a bit over the top for growing a couple of little cased trays? Even in a grow area with 10x the volume of that setup I find perlite is fine for casings.. I suppose it sounds good when you're trying to get people to part with 119 Euros (about $130)  :rolleyes:

though, I guess you can utilize the pump and humidifyer for later projects.
