I'm not hungry after quitting the pot.

It's only been two days since I quit smoking pot and I just have no appetite. Even things I like I have to force down. I think I've eaten 2 meals in the last two days. Right now I'm forcing myself to eat just because I feel weak and shitty.

I have had this problem since I was a kid. Every meal was a fight. This is one of the main things that drew me to pot. That and it made me sleep so much better.

Anyone have any suggestions as to something, besides weed, that I could try to get my appetite normal?

I don't want to quit smoking but I really need a better job so I have to do it for the next month or two.

Exercise. I always get hungry after doing a good workout. Find ways to get your metabolism going again such as physical activity.

My hubby has the same problem during our tolerance breaks. Could even finish half a burger :shrug:

hope you find something else that works like OD said exercise might help or it might just happen naturally over time

I tried that as a teenager and it didn't help then. I might give it a shot again now that it's 13 years later.

I suggest starting 5-HTP. It is a serotonin regulator, but, serotonin is one of the main things in your brain that controls your 2 problems: sleep and hunger, and a slew of other things as well. I've been taking it for about 2 weeks and i have a nopticeable change in attitude and diet.

If you didn't get hungry after exercising (say an an hour or two after completely done)...

You never worked out very hard.

Not having an apetite is normal for quitting marijuana

I'm always starving like super bad after I workout. I always eat breakfast before I go, too, but every day. Hungry as hell.

See, this is probably one issue right here. I don't have any sweat glands (born condition) and when I do work out it has to be short reps with time between them because I get heated up quickly. Even in the air conditioning.

Same thing with work, it's half my business so I take breaks when I want to.

The only time I remember not smoking pot and having a normal appetite is when I worked fast food and when I had a live in girlfriend that I fucked 2 or 3 times a day.

I must need some pussy.

You were born without sweat glands?! WTF, please explain how that's possible and what it's called. You pretty much sweat through pores and I don't see how one could be born without pores.

It's call hidrotic ectodermal dysplasia. I will explain no more. www.nfed.org has all the info on my condition, you can make a donation there too (not to me, to the children who are learning to deal with it).

They think they found a way to cure the condition if it's caught in the infant stages. Nothing for adults though since those damn hippies cut out our stem-cell research. :mad2:

Thanks for your help guys.

I just talked to my boy and I'm about to go swim in his pool for a few hours. Really the only way I can get a workout. I forgot till we started talking about working out.

Gonna grab me a few valiums too. That might help me through the first few days of placebo withdrawals.
