I'm actually going to be doing a $25,000 professional fireworks show this weekend. I'll take pics of the setup and I'll see if I can get a video of the finale. Can't get any vids of the actual show because it's a hand fire show.

Here's a finale for a show I did last year from where I was standing (bout 20 feet from the racks):

And I'm very fond of cakes:

I'm staying fucking far away from Philly this year for the 4th, thankfully.
Stickin' to sparklers though, probably - maybe not actually, I'll be tripping. Fireworks are legal here though, there are tents everywhere on the borders of the state because people drive over and nab 'em here.

Saratoga Performing Arts Center. It's in Saratoga Springs, NY. Phish is playing there the 5th, 6th & 7th. Thousands of us are staying at Lees Campground which is about 15 minutes away. We're getting there on the 4th & celebrating Independence day in style. Lees is basically a festival....no real security, no cops, mad fireworks, live bands, straight up all weekend party with shuttle buses to the venue. :omgawesome:

I will most definitely be bringing this up later on today with some people... We were thinking of camping already actually - either at Glen onoko or Ricketts Glen, but that can be done any weekend...and we missed firefly....so... :aweyeah:

Yeah you should totally go. Lawn tickets will be super easy to come by cheap, and even if you don't go to the shows & just hang out at Lees you will have a blast. Shoot me a :pm:

they are illegal to set of in my state but they sell them everywhere

the best buy ever was at a random stop and i picked up this $16 little rectangular box with tubes coming out of it. turns out it was a full fireworks display with fountains, different colored rockets, and it even did a grand finale. i will always be on the lookout for these

They're too big for me though, I prefer flash crackers up to a few grams of flash.
Like these, had fun last year with these:

On a bit of a side note, this is kind of funny to me: The cops can come and take all my fireworks and give me a $1000 fine and yet they can't touch my weed. It's quite the contrast from the rest of the country. It sucks not to be able to light up some fireworks, but I can live with lighting up a blunt instead...

My buddy works at the fire work store and gets 75% off so he bought $2500 in cakes, his dad bought $4000 in cakes, then there's the small shit and that shit'll be nice.
