Any fellow psychedelians in Phoenix?

I just moved to Scottsdale recently and I HATE the people here. I'm into psychedelics and most scottsdale people are into...cheap cologne and clubs. It'd be cool just to meet some like-minded people who are actually into cool things. THIS IS NOT AN ATTEMPT TO ACQUIRE OR ASK FOR DRUGS.

I know you're probably just trying to reach out to likeminded people in your area, but you gotta understand that this really comes off as sketchy. Especially for a first post.

But in any event, welcome to the shroomery! I hope you can meet some people in your area. I would suggest maybe going to some music festivals or concerts of bands you like. That sort of thing. Good luck.

Step 1.Go to Cheba Hut (My favorite is the one in Mesa)

Step 2. Pick up a Rave Flier that pertains to you (your favorite genre/subgenre) from the counter/register

Step 3. Go to a show and meet people. Use Pill Reports before-hand if you aren't sure of what's good & going around.


Step 4. Repeat. Don't Stay In .com is also helpful.


Congratulations! You moved into arguably the currently biggest "party area" in the country! Also the biggest electronic music scene in the country based on DontStayIn.

Walk along Mill Ave. in Tempe and visit all the headshops. Eat at the Mellow Mushroom Pizzeria. Psychedelics and psychonauts are around you, you just have to find them.

I'm kind of jealous now, reminiscing to when I lived there :lol: Never Scottsdale (too pricey) but downtown, in Tempe, and Mesa. Lots of good people and lots of crazy people, but that's any big city; it helps that Arizona State has one of the largest student bodies and therefore a very heavy age 18-30 demographic. Also is  a prime example of a "melting pot" of different cultures. And LoLo's

I haven't been to LoLo's yet. Yeah, scottsdale sucks. I'm an artist so I'm trying to find friends that have at least a lick of creativity and individuality. It's actually my birthday and I don't have shit to do and I don't know anyone, so I guess I'm going to just loser it up haha. Thanks for the tips though! those have great possibilities

It's kinda pricey but certainly delicious and an infinitely better "vibe" than most everywhere. And so many options! And veggies. And homemade dressings/spreads. AhhHHH just delicious.

The one in Albuquerque has a great selection of beer, too. No beer at the Mesa one for sure, but I've barely been to the others; one or two, maybe.


And Happy Birthday!

If you go to Ra Sushi (one in Snottsdale [:grin:] and one on Mill Ave./Tempe). and tell them it's your birthday, you get fried/tempura ice cream for free! The fish is good there, too.

Scottsdale isn't bad. I'm about 15 min away from there.

Tempe is disgusting, parts of Mesa are disgusting.

Go to East Mesa....like far East. Go see all the gorgeous custom built houses and shit! Go long boarding down the hills up there. Pet some coyotes, get stung by bees. Burnt by the sun, etc etc.

Do they still have that restaurant called "The Horny Toad" around there? I remember going there as a kid.

You know, I'm not sure. I drove by some burger joint that was all decked out in magical mushrooms. Forgot the name.

I want to say the Horny Toad still exists Bc it sounds familiar, but not completely sure
