How many Shroomery folks smoke cigarettes? I generally keep it to cloves these days, but Its still a problem for me. Anyone else?

I quit again about 6 months ago, picked it up slowly during the time mom was sick and got up to a pack a day...damn, they are seriously addicting.

I dont smoke that much, but cloves are deffinitly damn good, especialy darjum black, mmmm

I smoke only usually when im buzzed.. but im goin to try to quit soon i can tell the difference its done to me..

I used to smoke like 2 packs a day, big 25-sig packs so I smoked quite a lot.

within this smoking habit there was a daily 0.5-1.5 grams of good-quality Dutch storebought Grass. :eek:

Early December I meditated, utilizing a combination of one very toxic herb I'm not going to mention due to its dangers and said Marijuana.

There amidst the visuals in the dark of night the message became clear:
"Either you put out that cigarette, or it will put YOU out..."

The next morning I woke in an extra-ordinary state of peace which was quite striking. I parked my ass on the toiletbowl and started smoking the morning cig, as was my habitual wake-up ritual.
Halfway into smoking something happened to me. I blew out the smoke and stared at the cigarette. Filled with inner peace and with no strong emotion I said. "It is over. You were my last one."
I put it out and that was to be that.

Later the day I flooded the sink and opened my pack of Marlboros. I took a cig and sniffed in that great aroma. I looked at it and said.

"you guys were comforting but bad friends to me, GOODBYE"
and I smacked the cig in the sink. Next one.

"I took you in and you poisoned me! BEGONE!" next.

"You undermined my Willpower but now the Master is back. FUCK OFF!"

"And what would be next? Bury Me In Marlboro Country? BEAT IT!!"

And all the time I ferociously smacked cig after cig into the water. As I advanced uttering my sense of betrayal the inner peace refortified and my goodbyes became calmer until I parted with the last one totally void of strong emotions.

I grabbed some salt and stood before the sink.
"As I stand before this lake  :wink: I will purify it and with it cleanse myself of the mistakes of the past.." I sprinkled the salt in,
"Salt and water, water and salt, and with this my mind will be purified from the poison of a slave's desire as will my body recover from the poisons I have taken in. So Mote It Be." I contemplated the scene grabbed the wet cigs and tossed them out, later followed by all my tobacco paraphernalia. I continued to smoke petite marijuana joints without any herb added. It proved to be a cough-o-rama.

The withdrawal was tough but nowhere near the drama I expected obviously because I made up my mind and fortified it.

At December 27 I woke up in the midst of a heart infarction. I managed to get downstairs but had to plunge in a chair, incapacitated as I was. I was rushed to the Intensive Care Unit where I saw death in the eyes 3 times and saw 2003 coming. It was followed by three weeks of bedrest in the heart ward. And ofcourse this was to be the end of me smoking grass too, as I did away with all smoking except an occasional single puff of Salvia Divinorum 10x fortified leaf extract about once a month or so.

I now keep a Nitroglycerin sublingual spray where my Marlboros used to be. My cardiologist specifically and routinely warned all his patients against the dangers of Nicotine and Cocaine. At the heart ward I inquired and found out that 90% of the patients either smoked or had done so for years. My cardiologist backed up my assumption:

Had I, on that fateful morning, smoked a cigarette in the midst of the heartattack, it wouldve been much, much worse and maybe fatal.
Entheogenic herbs have SAVED MY LIFE.

If you want to quit, and the time is ripe, you will succeed.
To quote my spirit guide:

I've been a smoker for the past 3 years now. I smoke about a pack a day depending on what is going on.

I smoke 10-15 cigs a day and a few of these :spliff: every now and then :shocked: :tongue:

I smoke occasionally. I never buy my own cigarettes. I just bum them off of other people sometimes.

been smoking since 1974 I quit for 15 months then a good friend was getting married and I had to deal with her and the bridesmaid dress I picked out.........

Closet smokers really annoy me...you know, the ones that only smoke 2-3 cigs a day and only when they've had a few drinks.FAGGOT smokers

I usually don't buy packs...occasionally do..but usually i bum them cause im usually around people that do.  So why pay for them when i can get a single one for free almost whenever i want.  I'm also helping them not smoke one :heartpump:

But for me the only time i REALLY enjoy a cigerette is mostly when i am drinking, or when i am high.  But cigerettes while drinking are really good.  Otherwise it is a bad addiction that is completely pointless to have.

my girlfriends 15 yr. old sister is stupid with cigerettes...she started cause it makes her look "cool". And out of nowhere shes like "OH MY GOD! I NEED A CIGERETTE SO BAD!" even though she hadn't smoked not nearly long enough to become slightly addicted. And then she will smoke 3 in a row. All the guys she hangs out with just get disgusted by it, and she thinks it makes her look cool. Haha.
