Battlefield 3 questions

Here's the deal: I want to buy battlefield 3 premium (bf3 plus all 5 expansion packs). EA games has "online pass" codes that only allow the game to be used with one gamertag. However, they are doing away with that, it's either already done or will be done in the next week. I keep hearing about a "premium" content code that comes with premium.

My question is if I buy BF3 premium, will it still want a premium code. They apparantly can only be used once, and I think it is separate from the "online pass" code that I know they are getting rid of. I can get BF3 premium used for 20 or new for 40. Since they are doing away with the online pass I know that I won't have a problem playing online without the expansion packs. I just don't want to buy it used and then have to spend 4000 microsoft points to get the premium content. Anyone know how this works?

Are you buying it used? The online pass is like 10$. If you buy it new you should be fine in all areas.

Yes. EA games is doing away with the online pass, so I'm not worried about that. The premium version comes with it's own code that is used to unlock the expansion packs. I don't know if I will have access to the expansion packs if I buy it used.
