Some say it was on a boat, some say it was a dark boathouse, some say it was in the woods, some say he was taking pictures of her fully clothed other stories say she was nude. It really just depends on how much people all ready hate the band. That usually determines how far people want to slander the situation. The original story was poorly written and left out a lot of details. Doesn't really matter because people will make up their own real quick when it comes to accusations like these. From the last I heard of it the official statement from phish was that both parties agreed that it was a misunderstanding and no charges were brought. Now, yeah, this definitely could mean a number of different conclusions could have been met. But people all ready have their minds made up and that's not going to change.

It sucks to be Mike Gordon but if you look into the story he didn't make the smartest decisions that day but he's not a pedophile either. He did get his ass beat and balls stomped proper by the hell's angels. That is for damn sure.

It was backstage, she was on a segue (segway?) and fully clothed. There was no boathouse. People that were there have reported on it thoroughly. The Hell's Angel guy was coked/methed out and he heard that Gordo was taking pictures of his daughter even though he previously got permission from the girl's mother. There was a misunderstanding and he struck him. To avoid the negative publicity and stupid rumors no charges were filed. But like you said people will believe what they want.

He doesn't look like a pedo. There's no specific look of a pedo. Perpetuating that idea is why pretty, shiny, athletic dudes routinely get away with doing horrible things. "Oh him, he doesn't look like a pedo?!"

Well.  The general public doesn't give a shit about mike gordon, and will take the Rolling Stones' word for it.  It's up to mike gordon and phish fanatics like yourself to exonerate his public image through the production of definitive court documentation.
