How important do you think this role is?

For example, instead of having the Green Bay Packers vs. Chicago Bears, you just have the city of Green Bay's team vs. Chicago's team, and the home team wears black while the away team wears white. Blank uniforms and helmet, and no mascot. Just black and white.

Do you think the same number of people would pay attention to sports? Personally I think not. I think the market and interest in sports would crumble. Crazy to think how vital it is to sports that they make different teams have different colors and slap a big orange "C", "G", or a "SF" on their helments, or how big of an influence it has on the game.
