Does any bodt remember this guy. Back when I played baseball I used to idolize this guy. He had so much potential, a great pitcher who seemed destined for the hall of fame but he couldnt stay away from the coke. It was sad to see this guy get suspended over and over again, 7 times total.

Howe was killed at 5:55 a.m. PDT about 130 miles east of Los Angeles, said Dalyn Backes of the Riverside County coroner's office. He had been in Arizona on business and was driving back to the family home in Valencia, Calif., business partner Judy Welp said.
Toxicology tests had not yet been performed.
I hope it was truly an accident instead of it being caused by intoxication. I would like to think that the guy put his demons behind him finaly.
