I'm fascinated by why south park rags on Canadians in the particular fashion they do. What are some stereotypes of canadians? Why?

Canadians worship Miles Gilbert Horton, cleanse themselves in the purifying maple syrup given to them by the frozen motherland, set each other on fire after getting alarmingly drunk at hockey games, and have massive poutine gatherings.
Then they form a circle and chant Celine Dion songs as the moose-mounted cavalry ride into battle with hordes of uncivilised natives who assault the national capital, Canadia City. Also, they talk funny and say "eh" incessantly. So much.

Meanwhile, the Québécois bitch about stuff that no one really cares about, and the rest of Canasia hates them.
These are all facts, I married someone from Canada.

I have only one canadian friend and he is the star hockey player at my school.


I have only one jewish friend and his parents just sold their 2.8 million dollar house.
