I love it when black comedians do impressions of white people.

They always use the same dorky tone.

Not all white people sound like that.

Ah, the Bob Marley thing doesn't really stereotype white people, that's more like stereotyping "college kids."

I've lived in a few different parts of the country for short periods of time and most were southern/predominately white & working class, and, needless to say, I encountered a lot of white folk... I would say 90% of them either wouldn't even be too sure who Bob Marley was, or would flat out not like him.

Even when I stayed in places like Chicago & Jersey, more urban areas, a lot of the white kids (yo boys/thugs) I hung around were, yes, very into black music culture (Hip Hop/Rap), but did not get down with Bob Marley.

I wouldn't use the Bob Marley thing to stereotype white people, but it is funny because that does describe quite a good number of College kids I hung around. haha

Are we talking about White Americans, or Whites? It's kinda hard to stereotype white people because of nationality background...  A 100% polish guy has more of a chance of being a self-righteous, sarcastic, drunk asshole who inhales pierogi & sauerkraut while being belligerently rude to his girlfriend, while a British Guy might be more well mannered and respectful or the type that chugs boddingtons pub ale and readies up for the WORLD CUP or a friendly rugby match in the football park.
Eastern Slavic whites are different from West Europeans or  northern Scandinavian whites, and white expansion (USA/French-quarters/Canada) generated even more different kinds of white folk....  so it's a little harder to stereotype white people.

I was sitting in the parking lot at a grocery store once, waiting for my girlfriend to get some women stuff, I see her walking out and I notice this black guy walking near her carrying a huge watermelon.... so I chuckled, of course... he then walked over and got into the car a couple spaces down, no one else was parked between us so I could see into their vehicle...and I noticed that his wife was in the driver's side with her hand on a big bucket of KFC... I almost shit my pants laughing so hard.

stereotypes can be funny.
