I believe that 99% of religion in "The West" will cease to exist within the next 3 centuries. It will remain for longer periods in poorer countries until they  grow to prosperity or collapse completely.

Louisiana has been trying to get creationism put in their schools.
Here is one good example of politicians having a say on an issue when they have no idea what they are talking about.

The bible belt has at least 60 million people. It would seem that is a pretty damn big group that is effecting u.s.a politics.

Thats not even including all the states which are Christian dominated, which are most states.

This country is obviously Christian dominated. Overall the Christians have so much power here in the u.s.a. How wonderful?

Its the thought of a specific teaching being brought to consciousness that is the issue.
When you bring up a religion in class, its not being forced on kids, but its being offered.


Shouldn't we let parents be parents and teach children right and wrong without having to try n hardwire them into another system?
