Just recently watched the whole lord of the rings extended trilogy plus the hobbit. That was nothing short of a religious experience.

and I watch a TON of Tarantino movies, watched django unchained
again recently, inglorious basterds, reservoir dogs, pulp fiction, etc.

Nice plot and I enjoyed the story.  There were some parts where I thought the camera work was odd and would have looked better if done another way for some reason.  That has no effect on the rating though.  Also, on some of the closeup shots it looked like Joseph Gordon-Levitt's face had some CGI work done to make him look a bit more like a young Bruce Willis, but I was pretty high so...

Watched a documentary about The Pirate Bay yesterday called "TBP AFK"

I'll give it 8/10, I loved the backstory on how the largest torrent tracker came to be and the legal issues surrounding it and it's creators. I recommend to check it out:

Just watched Shooter (4/5).  Saw it in the netflix library and thought I hadn't seen it, turns out I had.  A man is suckered into planning the assassination of the president and is subsequently framed in the failed attempt.  He then goes on a mission to get those who set him up.


I'm about to put on The Forgotten, I saw it on TV a few years ago and really liked it.  Figured I'd watch it again.  I can only remember bits and pieces of the plot as it is, but I'm pretty sure it has to do with multidimensional humanoid beings snatching up people for reasons I can't remember and a mother trying to get her son back from them.

Watched: Abraham Lincoln, vampire hunter

Score: 8/10

Awesome movie. Story was meant to be corny, so if you need drama and plot and oscar winning acting, this movie isn't for you. It has action, gore, humor and awesome fight scenes with dope cgi. It's a really good one to get stoned and watch. I was either cracking up watching honest abe decapitate vampires or dropping jaw from the epic fights and good cgi.

All in all, I recommend :thumbup:

I watched it about 2 years ago and thought it was kind of bad.  I didn't hate it, but probably wouldn't watch it again.  Julianne Moore is kinda hot though.

Just watched Safety Not Gurarateed  7/10

I really like Aubrey Plaza so I decided to give it a go since it just came out on Netflix.

The storyline was decent, although it had some good twists in the plot. The acting was very good. Not bad at all...

Watched The Matrix last night.  It was on real late and I had insomnia.  It was sad to see Switch die again.  I kind of dig her.

I rewatched it the other day as well. Definitely worth a watch.

The deadpan humor is really good :lol:

Just watched Sinister, first horror film I've seen this year.  I rate horror films on an entirely different standard compared to everything else.

Decent soundtrack, not too over-the-top.  Good mix of creepy/scary/intrigue and good acting.  Some of the cheap scare moments were kind of boring/lazy/very predictable, but I liked the movie over all.

I just watched this as well.

I give it 2/5

Somewhat scary images that flash in front of you. My girlfriend jumped a couple times :shrug:. All in all I thought it wasn't very good. Very slow and just drags on. It was also painfully predictable. Not worth watching :thumbdown:

i give this movie 1 out of 5. id even give it 1/10 if that was the ratio too.

complete shite of a story and design of cgi and acting too. save yourself a hour and a half and never watch this. ive seen porn movies with better storylines. :lol:

Has anyone watched the new V/H/S that was recently added to Netflix?

I heard it's completely different than the original (which I thought was amazing). I'm just asking since you guys are talking about horror films.

Watched Argo. It was pretty good, but definitely not the best movie of 2012

I give it 8 points out of 10.

Watched Iron Sky.

One of the better movies I've seen recently. Full of satire and irony and lols.

I'd give it a 4/5.

Also it's on netflix.

Watched Seal Team Six: The Raid on Osama Bin Laden last night.  It's alright I'd give it a 3/5.  Kinda obvious what its about, it just cant figure out if its a documentary or a movie.
