I need to buy a new pillow. Any suggestions would be appretiated.

So I have had this pillow of mine for almost 20 years. Gross I know rite?

But I throw it in the washer every year or so and then hand wash it and throw it in the washer again and dry it.

That was my meathod all this time.

Well I guess it just could not take it anymore and when I washed it in the washer once it was done washing I went to get it and it was shredded into probably 1000 peaces.

So that is the end of my pillow and now I need to buy a new one.
The pillow I had was a soft foam thing and I loved it. That is why I had it so long. No pillow I had come across since that one could compare.


Now I absolutely have to get one.

What pillow should I buy and were do they sell it?

Any good places online I could go to save money?

Get a down pillow. By far the best. Temper-pedic is alright too

Temper-pedic always felt too hard for me. I used the same pillow for years, that's what the pillow case is for I assume, to help keep it fresh.

R.I.P. to your pillow tho man. It's like 5:14am over here and I haven't slept yet, that would be a shitty predicament to be in for me if my pillow just blew up.

I have another pillow, its a serta. I think its funny that this pillow is meant for my head, its way to thick, I normally just put it between my legs to hold them a part a bit if I am having a hard time to fall asleep.

But guess I will be sleeping propped up tonight.

How about a serious answer. This is a real dilemma.
I need as many suggestions as possible so that way I make the rite choice.

My mom got this pillow off of overstock, its comfortable as fuck and is made out of this material that stays cold. Unfortunately I forgot the name, you could probably find similar ones with a quick google search though.

it's not a real dilemma though is it..

what choice do you have, a pillow or something else that isn't a pillow.

do you really need some internet pillow guru to guide you through this immense and heart wrenching decision?

cradling you step by step with his immense pillow understanding, pointing out the vast multitude of various pillow pro and cons..

You can get pillows at any of the retailers that pretty much carry anything (Wal-mart, Target, Meijer, Bed Bath & Beyond, etc.)

Or Amazon...

Yea but what pillow is the issue. I mean I assume a tempur pedic is a superior pillow but they sure are pricey.

My pillow was superior. It smelt but I could not part with it because it was so comfy.

I have no idea what kind of pillow it was.

It was a neck style curved pillow made of foam. I never see them in stores anymore for some reason.

Probably because tempurpedic put them out of business.

They make fancy ones that never loose shape and never get hot. I don't remember what they fill 'em with but sometimes they use some kind of seed or husk I think. I don't know, google is your friend. I personally have gone pillowless and love it because my body likes to switch up positions and move around and it's easier when the entire bed is my pillow.
