A conversation i had about pillows

so my gf's friend came over with her room mate, and somehow, we got to talkin about pillows, and like, 5 mintues into it,  my gf butts into the conversation and goes "what are you talking about?" and i just paused for a second, and pillows avatar pops in my head... :gd_icon:... and i just kinda smiled and said "pillows" then it was all awkward and funny.

anyway, we concluded that feather pillows are the best of all. and i was pretty damn proud to hear this kid talkin about how much better they are over regular pillows.

So anyway, what kinda pillows do you use?

personaly, i have 2 gussed down pillows (the chronic feathers that are all soft) and a regular feather pillow with the pointy things for support.

oh, and flannel pillow case's.... they rock

my mom likes to hord all the pillows in the house. She keeps about 20 on her bed at a time, and periodicly trys to steal the better of my 2-3.
Its very strange

i could see why that would happen if you had good quality feather pillows, my gf has to stop me every time we see feather pillows on sale, the regular feather pillows usualy go for 16 on sale, 22 normal, but the gussed down pillows go for about $50 straight up. its definetly worth it to get like, 2 regulars, and 1 gussed for the top. the cool thing about feather pillows is that you can lay on them, and they arent a big obstruction, thier just there, usualy providing more comfort than not.

i'm allergic to feather pillows :sad:

i just have to use regular old pillows and they arent as neat, but i always find the cushiest ones and pile them up under my head for supra-softness

feather pillows are soft, but I cnt sleep on them. They bunch of to quick and dont have enough resistance.

I like feather and down pillows- I don't like synthetic stuff. Sythetics make me paranoid about strange diseases! :shocked: 

You can bunch up feather pillows to the desired shape! I love them. :smile:

I hate it when the feathers always be poking thru the case and sticken your in the head. Am I the only one that has had that problem?

I need to get new/more pillows.

haha I have that problem with cheaper feather pillows. If you spend big bucks and get realllly nice ones the thread count on the outside + pillow covers should prevent it.

yea, you get that on the one's that arent down. and i always use 2 pillow cases, going in oppisite directions, that pretty much stops the feathers in their tracks, usualy have like, 2-3 stray feathers in the hair if i dont use 2 case's
