Oh in that case it sucks and you should have been way more creative with how you show your love.

Woman are complicated creatures but they are not difficult to understand. If you really think buying her something that costs...$20 is going to win her affection over for as long as you want then think again. That necklace is a token gift of "having to celebrate valentines day" attitude. Now, if you made it that would be something altogether. If you bought her that, took her on a hike, had a picnic, and told her how special she is to you then I'd say kudos to you.

Yep VD is fucking stupid. I bought my girl a nice microscope a few weeks ago because I love her and want her to excel in her passion for microbiology. Up until yesterday I thought Valentines day was stupid. My yoga instructor pointed out that it should be a day of love, and not just romantic love. Love in general!

Although, I still consider Valentines day Single Awareness day.
