Quiet impeller humidifier for FAE thats not Vicks cool mist V400

Greetings,

A friend of a friend has been using the 4 tier greenhouse method with vicks V5100 ultrasonic humidifer and Vicks V400 cool mist humidifer (impeller type fan) for FAE with much success for edible shrooms.

But under new circumstances... the Vicks V400 (impeller type fan) cool mist is WAY too noisy!

Has anybody had success with a alternative humidifer for FAE that does not produce so much noise? I am assuming it will need an impeller type fan.
It will be used in conjuction with the vicks v5100 ultrasonic humidier.

Just wondering if there are any other better options out there myself. Was thinking about purchasing one on Amazon... but this thing gets horrible reviews, average 2 star rating. And I found this by RR:

Actually, bumping an old but relevant thread shows you were using the search engine as we request people to do. We frown on people bumping old threads for no reason, but this is different.

Vicks 400 used to be a good unit. Then they shipped production and the jobs associated with it to Mexico a few years ago, and I never had a single one last over three months after that. We used to run them in our house all winter to make up for dry air caused by our wood stove. Now we just keep a pot of water boiling on the stove.

Good luck getting much out of one of the new units. I wish I knew of a quality replacement, but don't.

Soooo.... I'm bumping a month old thread with no response and hoping somebody has something useful?

I am thinking about just getting a portable ultrasonic on a timer and putting it in the GH, and hooking up a computer fan and installing vents...
