using an impeller humidifier, & some other noob questions

I found this for much cheaper then the others and was wondering if anybody knew if it would provide substatial humidity or even work at all, its a cool mist impeller humidifier by sunbeam. it says it uses a centrifugal force mechanism that pressurizes air and water into water vapor.

the price cant be beat, it runs up to 48 hours (plus it glows in the dark!) if any one knows if i can use this please let me know.

also, i was curious if there is a good tek on exactly how to set up modern humidifiers, many have large vents, do i plug up the entire thing, and then where do i drill the hole for tubing? or would it be possible to seal a 2L bottle with the bottom cut off over the entire vent and run the tube from the bottle?

I'm new to this hobby and want to start out with the best (amateur) set up and have a succcessful first crop.

Thanks, i couldnt find any information on a impeller humidifier anywhere. awsome to know, im gonna order it right now,,, what are its drawbacks? low output? no/low circulation? i'd like to make sure i provide everything needed...

humidifiers

My sunbeam cool mist has been replaced by a vicks (had one siting around) cause the sunbeam has more important work. I think the sunbeam's work fine.

I also use the impeller type vicks. They provide good air circulation as well. Be sure to buy two because they really don't last very long. I go through about four or five per year.
