Say my 1pint millet jars are a TAD too dry. What do I do?

Well after cooking 6 batches of millet and using the entire bag of seed, I have some jars that look almost good to go.

I used a little less water this time which made the tops of the jars a little dry, but the bottom is all good and moist.

Shook those fuckers and hopefully the moisture from below will get up top.

Another question, is there a negative impact from busted kernels?

Don't worry, relax. The great thing about WBS is that p. Cubs eat it up. Innoculate under very sterile conditions, I reccomend a glove box, and sit back. Don't shake them anymore, you must resist the temptation. You'll like the results.

When my friend tried popcorn his moisture levels were either ALWAYS to dry or to wet, so after a few batches of failure, he rethought his substrate preperation method and tried again. So you might wanna do that. Plus like capital said don't shake your jars. Not just yet.
