one of my favorite sushi pieces (nigiri) is flying fish roe with a raw quail egg on top

ate sushi tonight, had the dynamite roll cash somethin roll it was a pattee with concunt crunch n eel sauce i think it was, and plenty of sashimi albacore yellotail redsnapper tuna and salmon bommb

Aw hell, the sushi place I used to go to in college was so dank because I would go there about every other day and between 3 and 6pm it was happy hour so everything was half price.. SO for 7 bucks I could either stuff myself or eat some and take some for snacks later. So fucking good.

I liked the Gone with the Wind Roll, the Volcano Roll, of COURSE the Tempura Avocado Roll... always the Spicy Tuna Roll, tons of Vegetable Tempura Maki rolls, and a hella ton of Yeingling beer, and the famous HOUSE Roll.

Man some nights I love sushi and wine....so expensive though compared to lets say beer and a pizza. :crankey:

Hell, All you can eat here is only $11 + a tip or so if you want... and it's The BEST... RuSans Sushi is one of the most popular sushi places around here.

The buffet only runs from 11-3 though, but it's like non stop packed, and constantly fresh stuff going out.

It's so worth it.

my place isnt a buffet, for the all you can eat its off the same order menu everyone else uses

Kani salad is good, its cucumber, immitation crab sticks, cucumber, spicy mayo and orange flying fish roe. Its also pretty cheap usually.

Dragon roll tobiko, eel, cucumber, rice, seaweed and wrapped in avocado with some weird sweet sauce.

Oh I see... Well I bet if one person were to order $40 worth of sushi for $20 they would start to mess with you and give you lower quality food lol... Not saying that for sure, but I know the restaurant industry.. Same thing with going into a place, tipping bad regularly, and going there and expecting not to have your food fucked with.

It's a sad fact of life... Luckily, everyone at my sushi places loves me... and practically have to tell the servers to leave me alone because I'm on break at work and have to focus on EATING, not flirting

This isn't true everywhere, I'm sure your place is great.. but why pay $20...

For $15 off regular menu I can order two meals worth of good food, and for $11 on the lunch buffet it's like a $15 value.

Exactly, that's what I was saying earlier about making $15 worth for about $2 at home.. plus you know the source... and sticky rice is FINE in the fridge for a few days and they sell wasabi paste and pickled ginger in most shops..

I've used king crab and snow crab, but I really like the imitation crab too, for quick and easy

You go to a diner and spend $10 on eggs, bacon and toast that probably costs $2 to make, or $8 on pancakes. They have overhead, they have to make a profit. Also, buying the right fish is an art form in itself.
