A couple minutes ago, other peoples messages didn't appear for anyone else to see, is this still the case? Or is this supposed to be how it works?

Edit: I would also like to suggest that there should be mini icon available to put next to your username? :shrug:

You should be able to do that with new threads you create.
Obviously, threads started by other users will be private between them and the owner of the message box.

This is a private message box, between the owner and the user who starts new threads.
No one else can view the messages.

By contrast, journals are public by default, open to anyone who wants to view them.

It's a forum-style version of the PM system we have now.
Eventually, we're going to switch over to this new system,
and close out the current PM system.

If you're closing it out does this mean the secure pm'ing, encryption, passphrase key etc... will also be phased out? Or will you be incorporating it in the new system?

Not at all.

We're going to use Secure PM encryption with the new system. You will also be able to forward secure PM's to other users, which you cannot do with the current PM system.

I'm also going to expand it so you can have multiple users participating in a single thread, so it will give you mail-list type functionality.

Did you get my error report about how the "Last post" function is defiled by the fact that one can only access a thread from a user's own link in said thread?

I can view that in mouseover preview, but when I click on it, it says I don't have access. Small privacy bug I think :lol:

I think they mean that they want to keep the current PM system. Opt out of the new system.

I'm actually willing to give the new system a chance. It sounds pretty cool. It could be awesome. Keep up the great work Sell Your Soul. :thumbup:
