Car hot towed last night

I was out drinking, got home, looked where my car should have been.....

went up to my place and made some pizza, ate and passed out.....

Hope it was towed and not stolen..... fuck.

Very notorious for towing legally parked cars on many occasions, damaging cars in the process of being towed, and returning cars with the inside fucking ransacked and vandalized. Additionally there are mutliple accounts with the better business bureau about staff exposing themselves to female customers and basically all sorts of criminal activity in a part of town that it's nearly impossible to get cabs to take you to.
Fucking never again. Worst experience ever. Definitely get your car out ASAP, Philly is notoriously scummy about this and chances are you will not have to travel to the bowels of hell and back for your car but seriously just fucking pay for it. They're not gonna waive the fee and you're just making it worse.

The worst part about all this was that I was legally fucking parked, there was a driveway a few feet behind my car but it was in no way blocking the entrance whatsoever. On the paperwork of course it stated I was blocking the driveway and gave the address of the building and street name. I hadn't been ticketed by the PPA for it, the towing company drove by, saw it, hooked it. There was no fucking way to fight it and try to prove that I was parked 5 feet further up than what they claimed and it was already over 200 dollars. Fuckers.

You need to get awwwn that shit. It gets expensive. If there aren't any signs in the area you parked indicating which towing company has it, then the police will know where it is :shrug:

Or it got stolen.

Im staying at a freinds place, parked in visitor parking but forgot to sign my car in.... the one day I forgot and it gets towed, fucking great

Pay them asap get a receipt ,Sue the fuckers in small claims court for 4999.00 and bring every piece of evidence you can find of the illegal practices by said company. No ticket = they stole your car. Then when you win go to the D.A. and push to get charges pressed for grand theft auto.

I just want my car back man, courts arn't my thing but yeah I was thinking what the fuck why tow my car, instead shouldnt they have only left a ticket instead? theres like a million fucking parking spaces to, and its in the visitors parking spot its not like I was in some residents place, anyways I just called the police, they have no record of my vechicle so I have to call the manager of this place and find out where the fuck my ride is.
I think its pretty fucked up if they did infact tow my car, I guess it would be better than having it stolen but still.

fucking shit is gonna cost me 280$

my freind that I'm staying with is going down tomorrow to the office to throw a huge fucking fit and hopefully get my money back, long story short but there is a history of bullshit from the one's responsible for this.... office is closed today, fuck this sucks.

$280 isn't that bad.

I'd take r00tuuu's advice, but if you just want to get it over with, pay the money and get your car back.

Another day, another couple hundred dollars.

At least it wasn't stolen and gutted, then found on bricks on a major road a week later like my last car. It could've been worse. :thumbup:

What a bummer all the way around. This is the last of the government-sanctioned monopolies. It's like getting a traffic ticket. By the time they get done banging you and then coming back later and claiming you never paid the ticket (to get the second bite) you feel like it was date rape. Take the rap and move on.
