Hi guys i found guy selling two KLC Vertical Laminar flow cabinet / clean bench s ...I was thinking about building my own flow hood anyway but hes only asking $250 per unit ...I have a spare room that Ive pretty decided to use for mushrooms...

My question is would that unit be over kill for me ??? I'm planing on going hard with grain to grain ...does any one have any experience with this unit

For mycology, you'd be better off with a laminar flow hood on a table, blowing directly back at you. Downdraft hoods tend to knock contaminants from your arms and hands into the work area.
