Subscribing for awesomeness.

I used to listen to a lot of ska, but haven't in quite a while.
Some of the songs from the above posts are amazing, I'll listen to them all when I have time. I'll also try to remember some good ones to post.

in the case of bob marley & the wailers in particular, it amazes me that so few people have even heard of this era in their history.

no kidding dude!!!!!!!

everybody thinks exodus, jammin, one love, stir it up, are Bob's only songs. i was playing rainbow country the other day and this girl asked me who was playing, i responded "my man Bob fuckin Marley baby!!". she laughed cause i could tell she didnt believe me, what a dope!

just heard the mighty mighty boss tones on the radio for the first time since the 90's, thats ska-ish lol

I love ska! Streetlight Manifesto would be a definite fave.

Streetlight Manifesto-Keasbey Nights

Streetlight Manifesto-We Are The Few

Streetlight Manifesto-Here's To Life

And the Supervillains are another group I really like.

Supervillains- Crippy Weed

Supervillains-Ex-Girlfriend

I mostly listen to Old Ska and Rock Steady 90% of the time I listen to music.

Jackie Mittoo is regarded as one of the people to Coin the Funk Movement in the early 70s - him a long with Jimi Hendrix.

You're probably heard this one Before, but not in it's entirety
