Nirvana
    #17404600 -

The other day my buddy was going on about how he absolutely hated listening to nirvana whilst tripping, something like "kurt cobain is a depressing mother fucker" I immediatly got defensive for some reason as if i knew kurt personally, i dont know why but it made me think how so many can relate to his music on such an emotional level. I ended up eating an eighth of golden teachers friday night and playing the nirvana unplugged album on loop smoking bowl after bowl, then inviting said friend over to smoke haha

I love Nirvana.  Would think unplugged would be could though I could sense an arrogance to him.  Cobain said that he felt joy listening to Nevermind but felt none with In Utero and I think that is why the album is so negative (teenage agnst has paid off well, now I'm bored and old).  I love Bleach and Incesticide and listen to in Utero at times as I'm tired of Nevermind.

Dave Grohl said it always had to be drama with him, and I think it built to a head with In Utero.  RIP Kurt, would of loved to see the music that would of been coming out from him now.

I love after a concert the band playing a heavy, emotional grinding tune then smashing their instruments.  I think they did a lot of great things on stage.  He just got so jaded later he didn't care and mocked the crowd for applauding his band.

You seem him in unplugged not long before his death and then Jim Morrison at around the same age looking 40 with a huge beard and gravely voice.

Yes, one of the best live performances for MTV and recorded but it's seriously hard to watch for me.  Like Rolling Stone said after the Jim Morrison died, a band just heading for longterm greatness, I think Nirvana would of been the same catagory.
