Just got the baddest fuckin rabbit on the block.

Not really, he's a doll. But here is my short rabbitery story.

So my duagther is at the age , where she wants to help with everythings, always inquring, and like her father is a HUGE animal lover. I might be a steroid poping gun nut, but im also the guy who will slam on the brakes, swerve, hit other cars, just to avoid hitting a squirell.

Anyway so long story short, pet stores dont locally sell rabbits, so i hit up craigslist, and find some lady in a town 30 minutes away. I call and she says " Oh yeah, I've got ALOT of rabbit's for sale!" I say great!! let me get some supplies for the little furry bastard and ill be there.

So i roll up to this nice house out in the country, and i walk up to the door, and there is a note saying " in small out building" so i go out to the small outbuilding, where the door is opened for me, before i can even knock.

I step in to a rabbietry. Turns out this old lady is "the wierd old rabbit lady" Her hobby is breeding, raising, and showing, mini lops and californiasn. If your not aware of what a rabbietry is.... its like animal hording, but humane and clean, and aceptable becauses its a hobby/sport

long story short, after 2 hrs of everything i could ever want to know about rabbits, and 15$ later i get some free food, a whole slew of other goodies, and the badest mini hop named " Al ' Fonz " i was very impressed with this lady, and if it wasnt indetifing as to where im located i would gladly advertise her business

i went with the rabbit for my kiddo for a couple of reason, A. Chicks dig rabbits B. I can hide/transport a rabbit fairly easily    c. Shit hits the fan i can eat him, and not be to upset.

and according to your slap hand shot trooper your the one with the guns, i dont work out to crazy, i only do dbols, i work exculsively with free weights and an olympic curl bar, my goal is to be strong and healthy, not ripped, from pics alone i seem to be a bit smaller than you , im 177 with clothes on, but can curl 110 on the olympic 5x, but thats about it, im no beast, i just like looking good :smile:

thank you sir, ive got 10 days off coming up in the near future, i imagine a couple hours will be spent doing drugs and taking funny pictures with the rabbit, and than editing them on photoshop, ill keep you in mind when editing:getstoned:

so far its not that big of a deal, ive had small animals before, so i know what im in for, ill change his cage out on like tuesdays and fridays, or every 4 days, the idea is to get my duaghter involved as much as possible, so ill have to work around her schedule, theyre not particulairly messy animals though, and theyre quite

i know, like i said in my original post, im totally down to eat the thing if shit really hits the fan, im humble, and a survivealist

there are people who raise californian rabbits strictly to butcher, some people do it oln the side some people do it for self consuption, and i guess theyres even commerical farmers....... this old lady really schooled me in those 2 hours... lol

My father kept them with his father when he was a kid.

When I was young, our neighbor had one, and well, they multiplied like rabbits and soon we both ended up with em.

Learned at a pretty early age how to have some very good stew.
