hehe I was just ribbing her behind her back.  In all honesty, I know her very well, she's very possessive and jealous.  She was probably more concerned about what I was doing, rather for my physical safety.

On that note, I can only speculate based on past experiences with this women.  I would never say that out loud to her.  I said, "sorry. I'll remember to call next time"

You're lucky to never have been in a situation where someone you loved didn't come home for an hour and it ended up that they were delayed because they were involved in some sort of accident where they were seriously injured or dead.

Thanks for getting my point. Of course the world isn't all bad, but accidents are frequent and people die everyday so it's just nice to not have to worry about that. Enjoywho just likes to disagree with everything I say. :lol:

The replies in this thread would be laughable, if they were not so depressing. With the attitudes you guys have no wonder you constantly have relationship troubles. You know, like attracts like in terms of emotional baggage, and you would do well to listen to JoieDeVivre.

I might have thought the same way years ago, in fact I did, but knowing what I do now, you are never going to have a real, healthy relationship until you change your attitudes, and do some deep thinking inside. Look at all the people who have healthy, successful relationships and figure out, why? You might notice a pattern emerge. Look at the people who have unhealthy relationships, look at their attitudes, and again, notice a pattern. It takes some discipline to fix, but unless you want to be in a unhealthy relationship all your life, it is worth it.

A main reason why women assert their independence or PMS like attitude is because of the economic equality that has taken place in the last 30-50 years, not only are women a close equal in wage earnings in the labor market, they also have the law on their side when it comes to ending a marriage that involves children.

Women can be much nicer when they have to be, but when they don't feel the economic and social pressure to be nice, they choose the act in any fashion they want. Social programs such as welfare, food stamps, and other state funded handouts make a man less necessary.

It's a shame in a lot of ways, the family unit is much weaker as a result, divorce is higher, out of wedlock children is higher, and social values have declined.
