Any of you looking for work. Come here. Seriously. There is so much work people can't stop talking about it. Good 60-70k work no education needed. Its fucking cold but if you need a new start this is the last frontier. Hit me up when you do and thank me.

Plus you work 2 weeks on 2 weeks off. 4-10k checks every 2 weeks. It is retarded the money you can make up here.

Seems like a cool place, a lot of empty land.

Protip: if you're interested in drugs, making a lot of money and/or chemistry, there are a decent number of companies will pay you a lot of money to go to school for pharmacy if you sign a contract saying you'll work in Alaska for a certain number of years.

Its all empty. You can drive 12 hours and still be in Alaska. The biggest city that I live in has like 600k people. And lots of people from the 48 making bread.

Manual labor in the cold. 12-14 hours a day for 2 weeks. Then you get 2 weeks off. Oil. Pipeline. Drilling. Fishing. You name it we got it.

Anchorage. Born and raises. Love it. Plus when I go to the 48 saying I'm from Alaska is the biggest deal ever.

Just saying I know there's many people hurting for work down low. Come here. It will make you rich. Or pretty damn close if you aren't a pussy. People bitch up here because there is too much fucking work.

Thank me later.

Bleh I hate the cold. I could look past it though considering the pay.

Besides the normal danger of manual labor are there any major health risks?

Not really. Most of the guys I meet are blue collar working men from the states. They hate the cold too, but the bread is worth it. So they keep coming back.

Isn't there some sort of homesteading program in Alaska where if you make the land habitable (as in put in a house and electricity and plumbing and shit) you get the land for free?

I hate the cold and snow and love the sunshine.  You'd have to pay me a lot more than that....
