Paw and I are agreeing that he's a very good QB.

Im not about to disagree but as a whole people are so damn bipolar with him. One week he's god the next week he's awful.

If you noticed his performance from week to week you'd see why.

Is that a personal attack?

Im not about to call a QB that won 2 Super bowls in the way he has a bad QB. I dont care if he throws 5 ints everyone has a bad day.

New York's fan base and media is just rough on their teams.

Two Super Bowl MVPs kinda shuts everybody up.  You should take a cue.

Apparently you are so slow that lessons need repeating.  How many grades did you have to do over?

Eli is good, but he is not the best Manning by far. Probably the number 5 or 6 QB in the league..

He needs to be more consistent, and sometimes makes mistakes.

That's pretty fucking good, isn't it?

So do they all.  See Drew Brees yesterday.  Is Peyton way better?  Nope.  Is he a little better?  Yeah.  The thing about Eli and regular season stats vs Peyton is that the Giants have not, over his entire career, asked him to be the savior.  But when they have needed him to do so in the biggest game he has amply responded.  He is in the Hall of Fame right now.

youre talking about the last QB to win the superbowl, for the second time. until he is usurped by another QB I say Eli is top 1-2 in the league. its not about consistency and being mistake free, its also, and more largely in my opinion, about winning games when it counts.

Yup. Eli has proved he can do that time and time again. Wouldn't say top 1-2 though. Peyton, Brady, Eli, Raaagars. in that order

But Peyton has not met that standard.  Whereas Eli is at his best when the pressure is highest and the gsme most important, Peyton is at his best on a manilla Sunday afternoon in early October.

This year he has. 24 down at San Diego. Biggest turning point of both teams year so far.

Peytons bad days are better than a lot of QBs best.

meh, it all depends on what you value as a fan i guess.  would you rather see your team have really outstanding regular season records and statistics followed by disappointing playoff performances or the inverse of that?  thats more or less the manning brothers and  why i like eli better.

I don't know about NYG but if Den beats Balt in like 2 weeks I think its safe to say they are the best in the AFC Patriots always fuck everything up though. I think houston loses to indy both times.
