worst thanksgiving ever * 1

unfortunately im on house arrest and im home alone while my family is all together at my grandmas 4 blocks away. idk why the fuck they wouldn't do it over at my house but w/e. im in my garage shooting cans and bottles with my co2 bb gun and drinking some blue moon and listening to grateful dead. its pretty depresing but i guess im having a lil fun. last thanksgiving i had my jaw broken and i had to eat my meal after putting it in a blender. fuck thanksgiving.

how is yours going???

My thanksgiving is shit too. The plan was to go down to Florida to meet my parents and cruise out for a couple days on my dads new 45ft meridian. But, the day after my dad got it he fell and shattered his heel. Hasn't moved for a month. So I'm thinking no big deal we can still have a nice thanksgiving dinner and I can do things with my mom and sister since I barely get to see them now. Well the dickheads in the science department thought it would be an excellent idea to schedule my lab final for Monday and give me a calc test on Tuesday, so here I am down in Florida with my family with beautiful weather stuck in my room studying my ass off. And as a cherry on top of this cruel joke I'm coming down with something. Don't know what it is but I've had a headache since Monday night so studying is about an 1/8 as productive as it should be.

So yeah fuck thanksgiving

sorry to hear man, that sounds like it would have been a blast, i hope your dad recovers soon and maybe you guys could do comething like that around christmas. i feel swamped with school too, your making me think i should get workin on some school work, i have 3 papers due next week, idk why im puttin them off.. take it easy and get some rest, drink some tea or something, it sucks tryin to study when you feel like shit. i hope you can find something to cheer you up. im glad im not alone in my misery though

I woke up to find my cat dead. Spent $350 on him at the vet earlier this week to make him better but the leukemia was too aggressive. I had to bury him before Thanksgiving dinner. Now I think I have food poisoning because I've been puking and shitting every 20 minutes. Worst Thanksgiving of my life, so far anyway.

I hope all of you have a better day than me.

Mine sucked too! My lactose intolerant aunt made all the food so it was all butter free. Didnt even have mashed taters :frown:

sorry for your loss bro, your cats in a better place now, hangin outt with all his animal friends up there in cat heaven. hope you get better too man, i hope this will be the worst one for you and you have many great thanksgivings in your future. try and think of some things you can be thankful for...your alive in this amazing world and im sure you'll feel %100 soon.

My thanksgiving has been shitty as well. I've been in a pissy mood with my family today (but I guess it's like that most of the time anyway), and we always save the turkey dinner for the weekend.

Worst thanksgiving so far I guess, but I'll smoking a nice bowl in a couple of hours which I am incredibly thankful/grateful for, since this day has been shit lol

haha yea i am jammin right now, i love me some dead and the brews pretty tasty, ill try and look at the good things i got going, how was the food man? im waiting for my paps to bring me some leftovers!

Food was good, I'm not much of a binge eater I usually have 1 plate then can't even enjoy dessert without feeling stuffed.  Had a few beers and smoked a bowl with my cousin which was a nice suprise.  I told my religious aunt and cousins that Jesus doesn't exist, nice family stuff.

You got me beat. Sorry to hear that man. Pets are like family to me. I hope you pull through quick. My dogs turning 15 soon and it scares me. She's healthy as shit for a dog her age aside from her damaged back legs and the fact that she's deaf. But those legs can take them out sometimes. Not quite as easy to find doggy wheelchairs :frown: I just hope every day there's a few more years left in her

Well on a lighter note, my thanksgiving is going OK so far. Went on a nice bike ride by myself. Came home to the smell of burnt food which is really no surprise as the women in my family are pretty bad cooks. They got their recipes from the internet this year so there's a chance the food might actually be good.
