You know what i hate, and used to love?

The holiday season. You got off school, you got plenty of presents, got to see family, plenty of good food.


Now, all it is is stress about everyone one of those things. Having no job, no prospects and no girlfriend, no real other friends except my best friend, the stress about being on food stamps and having 13458 people wanting everything on the dime, a house that's way to small cramming in way too many people.

I'm taking A LOT of klonopin, and drinking beer to get through this fucking season, how about you guys? Anyone still like the holidays? I don't.

In fact, if there was a "coma pill" that had a set time limit, i'd make it so i woke up on February 15th, so i can miss the other shittiest holiday of the year. It's great if you have money/girlfriend/boyfriend, and reminds you CONSTANTLY how much of a looser you are if you don't. I fucking hate the holiday season.

Do you know how long i've been trying to get my shit together bro? No, years i'll let you in. I have had plenty of temp jobs that lead no where, plenty of shit jobs that pay nothing and get me no where. Why waste all my time and all my money just sitting here feeling like shit and anxious as hell when i can spend what little i have and make it so i'm not mentally shitting myself every 10 minutes.

Do you know what anxiety is bro? You know if i would have saved ALL the money from all the Kpins i've gotten in the past, scratch that, all the DRUGS in general that i've bought the last year, it'd still do me no good. I'd be sitting on a wad of cash, that sure, i could move out for A MONTH, and be out of money, because i don't have a job.

I relate, but k-pins, music, beer, and a decent amount of money can be fun for awhile though living in a crowded house always sucks but you can always get a girlfriend if you change your attitude man as a loser.

K-pins are going to eventually make the anxiety worse. I know you don't want to hear that because I know anxiety. Trust me, I know. Mine got so bad I could barely fuction, and by function, I mean the basics: go to work, come home.

I only work part time so I was able to qualify for free medical evaluations and free prescriptions of a drug called buspar. The generic version is buspirone. It does the same job as benzos such as k-pins and xanax, but it lasts muuuch longer and is good for long-term use, unlike benzos. Look into it, worst case you can find it online.

Good luck man, anxiety is fucking HORRIBLE. A lot of people confuse it with stress. HA! Stress! That's a good one! Give me stress any day! Fucking anxiety will make your life a living hell where you can't even trust your own mind. Since I've been taking buspar, I've got 99% less anxiety, ZERO panic attacks, and am going back to school, something I absolutely would not be able to do the way I was before.

I know you are posting to the OP but no one can convince me to go of clonazapam (3mg a day) to allieviate anxiety.  I've been on busbar and paxil before before and have through the years been on a whole array of meds but k-pins and ambien is all I care to take now.  it's worked the best for me though I have to lie about my alcohol use to my psych doc.

But glad to here it's working for you, body chemistry is different for everyone I think.  Saw a guy a in a psych ward who got better on meds I thought he never would.

Attitude's all well and and good, but with no job and no way of getting out of this basement, because said job, what girl wants to be with me? I've thought about it, and if i was a girl i wouldn't go out with me. And it's not like i haven't tried, and when the truth comes out, guess who gets dumped.


How about this, i'm in Denver colorado, anyone got a job opening they'd like to hire me for? I need 12/hr min, VERY good at photoshop, pretty good at illustrator, very good at the microsoft suite, and extremely good at learning any new software. I'm a very personable guy (i know this thread doesn't show it, but in person i'm nothing but a smiler and listener).

Yeah body chemistry is definitely different. I'm talking this med up because its the only medication I've ever taken that gives me no side effects, and actually solves what it was prescribed to solve. I'm not used to that, lol. Its like magic. This is how medicine is supposed to work!

actually, i don't really. but i agree with your opinion, nonetheless.

holidays and being poor and having deal with everyone's conceited bullshit, thrown at you, because living life now is a broadway play with a bunch of horrible actors. thank goodness for good friends, they are the tides the turn the waves outward.

Christmas used to be so fun back when I was a kid. Gifts, playing with cousins etc.

Now its just an awkward family party. You can't get wasted cause its family. You got chat with everybody and pretend to care.

There are no more kids in my family (maybe 2). So it isn't even cool to watch them open the gifts.

Food is good though.

OP if you are in the US realize it's hard now, you need to hold on though.

Stay here at the shroomery with some beer and kpins if you don't feel like the social route is best.  I know shroomery has been a big part of christmas since i joined.  Staying fucked up and on shroomery is 100x better than the bookers at facebook trying to make sense of poorness..

I used to love this time of the year when I was young. Would go to family's house every Christmas eve and then one year we just stopped going. Stopped doing everything and my parents became very ....angry people.

I'm 23 now and it does seem a little different. Some years are better than others when it comes to family and the drama they bring along. Like this year my fiancee and I lost our first child and we don't feel like going to thanksgiving or Christmas dinner this year at family's house because there's atleast 3 people with new babies and I just don't feel like being around it.

This has caused much drama, my fiancee and I wanting to skip. Ill probably never hear the end of this one.

I was so happy last year around this time, but its completely different this year.

But OP, have a good Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas!

No shit they aren't the same. Buspar is way better long term. I suggest the OP read some of your posts, and some of mine, and THEN decide who he should trust regarding medication...just sayin.

The holidays are an incredible time of the year IF you got people that you love (and love you back) that you can share it with.

If not? It can be brutal. And I'm on the latter right now.
