Adhesive or tape safe to use on motherboard?`

Built a new pc for gaming this past summer. I foolishly snapped and broke the housing which holds the CMOS battery in place (strange design, really). Anyhow it's been running alright aside from the fact that whenever it is removed from wall power all BIOS settings are set back to default, which is a pain in the ass especially when overclocking.

Anyone know of a tape of some sort, or can think of an adequate means of holding a CMOS battery in place over a broken housing? Must be safe to use with the motherboard.

There is anti-static tape out there. Do a quick google search for it. You need to make sure you're well grounded when you tape it though. Any static hitting your motherboard and you could be toast :laugh:
