I've built systems with Gigabyte, MSI, and Abit boards, and the Abit has impressed me the most. They have by far the best overclocking features I've seen. If I was buying a board tomorrow and money was no object, I think I'd just get whatever is the best one they sell. I see they're doing some fruity things lately with heatpipe heatsinks on the chipset, but that's still better than those whiney little fans that most companies put on their chipsets.
