Ribs, ribs and more ribs

So far today has been a good day!

The girlfriend and I got up nice and early this morning to go get ourselves a new key cut for our new flat. The only place in town we could think of that could cut a key was the market that takes place every weekend. We've never actually been before but its renown for being awesome. It sells pretty much anything you can imagine. We're talking cheap DVDs, clothes to even knock off viagra! :lol:

Well anyway, as we're walking around, we get drawn in by some big loud butcher screaming over at us with a microphone. He screams at the to of his voice asking if we're interested in anything on offer. We take a look and decide we quite fancy some chinese ribs for our dinner tonight. The minute we said that, he switched from being a butcher to a car salesman. He asked if we liked piri piri chicken (who doesn't?) and then began throwing things in the bag amongst our chinese ribs and tells us we can have it all for as little as £10. We thought fuck it, why not? Anyway, my heart nearly dropped when he handed me over the bag. The weight of the thing was unbelievable, and to think all we wanted was a few chinese ribs for our dinner tonight! :lol:

So now that I'm home, I've laid out some ribs for our dinner tonight and threw everything else in the freezer. We've got that much meat, we're going to be stuffing our fat faces for weekends on end. Just thinking about all these ribs is making me hungry! I've got some egg fried rice and a little garlic bread that should go hand in hand with the ribs later tonight.

I think I might just need to smoke a good ole' joint or two just to build up the appetite! :jointsmile:
