Seems to me the Italian government should jail themselves if what you say is true as they
put trust into peoples hands who could not possibly predict such things. The whole thing is asinine. No one should be in jail because of a natural disaster.

you are aware that with suitable warning after the the tremors had begun they
could have had emergency and disaster personnel on stand by which could have
saved many dozens of lives. instead they stuck their thumbs up their asses
and said "no way we'll have an earth quake"

that little story of the boy that cried wolf teaches us 2 things, one, not
to cause a FALSE panic and second, it's better to be prepared through those
false panics than to do nothing and just wait for disaster to strike. there's
a reason that disaster agencies do all they can to prepare for that shit and
want to be on a state of readiness when there's the potential for something
like this and everyone knows that when there's a growing number of minor
tremors that there's a greater risk of an earthquake which is why some such
as the quake in japan, new zealand and even the one in italy were predicted,
not with a set day and time but it was forecast that they'd occur
