Neither are done yet. I bet they both win another one before its all said and done. If superbowls are determining factor of the better QB I guess Marino is worse than Trent Dilfer. Eli is no where near Peytons level he may get there he may not, but its not even a question at this stage.

I disagree, but really dont care cause im not a huge NYG fan and most certainly not a Denver fan.

Peyton is more than a respectable quarterback but I hope DEN fails over and over again, therefore Eli has to be the better QB in my books ;P

It is certainly true that rings aren't much of a measure of a QB but you cannot ignore how the Giants won the last two.  It's been on Eli's guts in last minute close games against one of the great QBs of all time.

True that the endings were remarkable. Same with Big ben though dude won from a 6th seed thats pretty wild.

Cupcake division my ass. Sure KC and Oaktown are always terrible Chargers and Broncos are always solid. LT,Breezy, gates, Elway, Bailey, Lynch,Dawkins all HoFers and of the most respected at their positions.

It's historically a pretty soft division.  Usually only sends one team to the tourney.

Western divisions are historically a joke.


You also listed a bunch of retired players as your argument as to why the AFC West is strong...nice.

Brees, Bailey, and Gates are still playing and all at high levels too. I can add Peyton if you would like?  both southern divisions are a hell of alot worse and have a hell of a lot less Super Bowls than either western division.  So what makes a strong division? most divisions only have 2 good teams anyway. Even the "powerhouse" divisions only have 2 historically successful teams.

dude look at the recordbooks from last year for your answer.

denver was starting tebow and went to the playoffs with an 8-8 record. SD had its thumb up its ass. kansas city and oakland were spinning around to get dizzy on the field and still came within a game of a divisional playoff win.

its been like this for years now. AFC west is a gimme for any team that can eek out even a 4 week winning streak

Thats last year they also beat the steelers. who won the Super Bowl again? oh ya the 9-7 giants. They also killed the 15-1 packers on the way.  Who cares about a good season if you cant make it past the wild card round. The broncos have more superbowl appearances than either of the southern conferences combined.
oh and KC won like 6 games in a row to get there pretty good for a team that fired its coach midseason
