Paintball

I've played for ~16 years, but if anybody here has never played, and wanted a little motivation, here you go:



This is from a tournament I played in 2 years ago. It was a 3 on 1. A guy came around my bunker and didn't know I was there, so I shot him, and the fucker spun around and shot me from about an inch away in the pinky. I shot him first so he got out and I stayed in and the referee backed me up. I then shot the other 2 guys and won, then looked at my pinky and it was gushing blood. :lol: Good times!

I've only played once but it was extremely fun. We have a really cool paintball place nearby.
Multiple kinds of arenas including 3 forts and a black hawk down level with a destroyed helicopter in the middle of blown up cars. :awesomenod:

i used to own a field, had it for about a year, then got shut down because of permits :lol:

Oh man that sucks! I wish I could afford to play more, but I don't even have friends that would come play with me. :sad:

yeah, we were getting about ~250 people a day by the time we got shut down, sheriffs and DA showed up :lol:

worst part is the place was FUCKING AWESOME
it was in a canyon, and we had fields up and down the canyon. all the fields connected (if you wanted) and you could play GIGANTIC 24 hour games with trucks and tents and everything, we were planning on it. probably woulda pulled in $20,000+. not to mention we have a full airball field we never got setup, and that would have brought in another 100 people per day. it was so fantastic, i was so sad that we lost it.

Hehe my buddy got shot inbetween his fingers once, needless to say we both bought gloves that day. But you can't play paintball without a little pain :hehehe:
I was really into it in highschool, played some pan-am younggun tournys, then my friends only wanted to play woodsball and scenarios so we did that.  I was just getting back into it like a month ago, the local store finally opened their own field- sup air on grass and everything, then my house got broken into and my guns and gear got stolen :sad: Not all bad though, my tank was out of hydro so once insuance comes through I can just get a new one and won't have to wait to send it off :lol:

Our tournament regulated speed for our guns was pretty low but even then a direct blow to the pinky is going to hurt. You don't wear rubber plated gloves?

I played a back when I did tournaments so I ended up in a lot of those 1v2 1v3 situations.

I always forget my gloves. At least if you get hit in the hand you know you're playing right- behind your gun.

the speed for this tournament was 300 fps. this guy was shooting about 340 if I remember correctly. he got kicked out afterwards.

me playing without gloves :lol: this was the last tournament I played in, it was in june this year.

here's some more pictures...
I can't believe I lost this place. I set up all these damn fields. This is pictures of 3. We realistically had about 7 and 3 more in the works. The field spanned a mile, you had to get in a truck and trailer where we drove people to the other fields. 3 of the fields were complete jungle. We didn't add shit. 3 or 4 were hay/speedball/hyperball fields, and we were gonna add 2 professional tournament style fields with netting/turf and everything but we got shut down before we had a chance.

Sup air or gtfo IMO, I hate playing on some backwoods shit with hay and wood structures. That's just me though, I was a paintball snob when I did play. I really am missing my auto cocker right now though, could take care of the pigeon problem around my place.

Paintball snob? You realize paintball came from the woods right? I've played woodball for ~8 years and airball for ~8 years. I prefer airball but the people are annoying. Woodsball players are much funner and healthier people to be around.

Yeah, I've only played on sup air since I very first started. The local course is run by a cool group of dudes and the atmosphere was beyond chill especially since I played for the shop's team. I do realize of course that paintball started in the woods but it has evolved since then and I don't really understand the point of playing around out in the woods anymore.

I played at a wooded course once, they didn't have tank refills and we had to wait for the paintballs to thaw out since the dumb broad stores everything out in her shed.

Overall I just enjoyed playing indoors year round way more than the few times I decided to try hill billy paintball. I like to be able to slide into my bunker without worrying about debris or my bunker attacking me back.
