ive seen him aboiut 10 times now, seeing him in a couple weeks (and saw him like 2 weeks ago) and he is fucking worth it

Yeah $38 is a lot to throw down on a show IMO. The first time I saw Pretty Lights the shit was $6, the next summer tix were $40 :facepalm3:

Bassnectar is the shit live, MOST of the time.

If you have the money to spend go for it, if money is an issue, save that ish and go to a psytrance festival :awedance:


Ticket pricing for DJs always sketches me out. Sometimes it'll be phat, but sometimes you end up dropping $50 to go listen to a CD on really loud speakers.

dude ive been going to nectar/EDM shows for 4 years now, ive seen bassectar for 15 dollars and bought tickets at the box office 10 minutes after he has started his set, what i mean is im a real head, not some custy bro teeny bopper basshead or anything


and on topic, i just looked at his tour, DEF going to the Umass show thats gonna be insane...its like 43$ all together and ill pay that

if u guys have a job, then 50 for a show u really wanna go to isnt a lot of money

i spend 50 bucks a week on weed, i can def spend 50 on a show and not really care


high ticket prices mite keep it to real heads and less bassheads unless their parents pay for it

Shit I've seen bassnectar at least 7 times, $50 is still a lot for a dj IMO. usually a 2hr set with shitty opening djs :shrug:

...meanwhile eoto, playing real live instruments mind you, sell their tickets around $15/$20 and have been for at least the last 3 years :thumbup:

yeah except EOTO sucks and thats why they still sell tickets for that cheap


if 50 is too much for you, your fucking poor or just dont care about the DJ enough, and I do

ill gladly spend 50 so i can see my favorite artist, fuck it

most people who bitch about ticket prices are poor as shit and shud be focusing on getting a job isntead of goign to concerts...50 bucks isnt shit

We'll leave the fact that I hate Bassnectar aside, but no, it is not worth it IMO. I'm gonna be paying $60 next weekend to see 3 days worth of music. That's only $12 more than what you're paying for <3 hours worth of music.

I got two tickets for St. Louis for Bass Center 6 or 7...whatever it is.

I don't listen to bassnectar anymore, but it's nostalgic to me because I used to dig lorin back in the day, so I couldn't pass it up.

still, his prices are ridiculous, $45 plus an extra $5 for fees. So I'm out $100. I guess the venue (Chafitz Arena) is the reason why it's expensive because I have a ticket for phish there and it cost $75 :facepalm:

Bassfreak, no, bassnectar is not anyones favorite band but your and a handful of rollers. Their is way better techno out there. If it's a good show, then the artist would be good, and if an artist was good then they'd give out cheap tix cuz they got a passion for the music.

Definitely pay the money to see that show. When he hits up the city I'm going to, He's bringing Gramatik, Zedd, and Gladkill. I'm probably more excited to see Gramatik.

gramatik will be sweet but bassnectar will blow him out of the water...i saw gramatik, bassnectar, and zedd all at a festival a couple weeks ago and nectar easily had the best set...but they were all pretty sweet, zedd was better than gramatik tho







i mean if 50 is so much to someone then they probly shouldnt be focusing on spending the little money that they do have on a concert

im DEF buying tickets to the amherst show, this is the first time in 3 years he has hit up massaschusetts on his fall tour so thats awesome...that will be 4 nectar shows in 7 months for me

I hear ya on the Bassnectar, but I'm a pretty big fan of Gramatik. I still like Bassnectar a lot, but after his last Electric Forest set, I was kinda left in a little bit of a disappointment. I still got respect for Lorin, but I'd be much more interested in Gramatik for that show. He's on the rise, and I like all the stuff he's released. I heard that Zeds Dead was going to be on a couple of shows, and I'm a little jealous haha.
