Those ones that flicker as they fall to the ground are called brocades. That seems to be every crowd's favorite, you hear a lot of OOOOH! AHHHHH!

Nope.  Just lightning.

Storm ended up swinging south at the last minute.

We got a bunch of lightning but very little wind,  10 minutes of very light rain.

they shouldn't have canceled.

They fired them off tonight.

I missed half of it fucking around with my camera.

Should have brought a tripod.  Some of them were actually squiggly, most were not.

maybe 10 out of 100 photos are decent.


Saw a pink heart shaped one and a yellow smiley face.  didn't get a pic.

Blue and white diamond shaped,  very cool in real life,  pic doesn't really capture it

I'm going to try and record the one on the forth.....It is supposed to be the biggest one in Illinois.....I'll post the video if it turns out alright.....:jah:
